RP History

I've been roleplaying for almost 10 years now across lots of different games! There's a chance we might already know each other. I've played and RPed in Fallen Earth, Guild Wars 2, Black Desert Online, World of Warcraft, and Elder Scrolls Online, as well as here in Final Fantasy XIV.Hope you enjoy the rest of the Carrd.co and have a wonderful day. Don't forget to love each other <3.

YES1. Long-term RP: I enjoy any form of long-term RP with another character, building a connection and going through trials and tribulations together. I think it's the strongest form of storytelling in the RP medium!2. Plotting & Scheduling: I am all for setting aside a time and date to do an RP! It helps me schedule things in my life.3. Adventuring & Tabletop: Arcene works best as a character in environments with adventure and combat sewn into the storytelling. I have utilized both D&D 5e and the FFXIV TTRPG to accomplish this, but I can use some homebrew systems though generally I prefer something with structure over flat rolling.

MAYBE1. Slice of Life RP: I enjoy Slice of Life RP, however I believe it has to be earned. Without some tension or story building prior, I struggle to remain invested in the scene.2. Lore-Bending: FFXIV's setting encourages player creativity when it comes to creating their characters and stories and that's awesome. I do not believe we need to be strictly adherent to the lore, however, I do believe we should still be within the bounds established by the game. After all, I am choosing to RP in XIV because of the setting.3. Syncing: I am open to sync with people I can reasonably, or at venues I trust. Ultimately it is my choice who I give these coupon codes to.4. ERP: I am not opposed to this style of RP, but there needs to be buildup to it, for the right story reasons.

NO1. Minors, IC or OOC: I will not engage with characters that are under the age of 18 (ideally 21+), and the same applies to players.2. Discord RP: I have nothing against Discord RPs, I am just terrible at responding to them. It's best of all engagements remain in-game or real time (I.E. Roll20 is fine).3. First-Person RP: I simply won't engage with RP written in the first person as I find it difficult to engage with and threatens to cross the IC/OOC bounds. In a similar vein, I do not engage with RP written with emojis.
